We are closely following recommendations from health officials on preventing the spread of COVID-19, and due to this, there may be a slight delay in the time it takes to process your warranty claim. We also return repaired products via Australia Post, who are currently experiencing delays in the delivery of items, so please allow additional time for your tool to be returned to you. We will continue to monitor the situation, and update as we can. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

We take extraordinary measures to make sure your Leatherman product will give you many years of dependable service. If it doesn't, or the product has a defect in material or workmanship, don’t worry! We will gladly repair or replace it, at our discretion, with one of equal or greater value under our 25-year guarantee for knives and tools and a 10-year guarantee for Leatherman branded lights.

1. Click here to fill in the Leatherman Tools Warranty Form.

2. Please PRINT the form and include your faulty item and post them both back to us.

We do not need a purchase receipt to begin a warranty claim.

We suggest you register the package with Australia post for tracking purposes, as we can not be held responsible for items that do not arrive.

The large majority of components in your Leatherman product will go through a rigorous manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality, incredibly precise tolerances and best longevity for each tool. The finishing processes are still done by hand in our factory in Portland, OR, USA. In these final stages of the assembly process is imperative to have a human connection, allowing for the correct torque and feel “for real life”.

Throughout this process components will be cleaned and lubricated. It is possible that (from time-to-time) there will be small amounts of lubricant apparent on the joints or marks from this personal touch in the final process. If you have unboxed a Black Oxide model and find small blemishes on the components, or find there is lubricant where you don’t want it on any tool, a simple wipe with a cloth will buff out the small marks or remove lubricant.

This is all to ensure the tool will be in the best working condition when you receive your new Leatherman.
